RL CRAFT Guide for Beginners

RLCraft is a modified add-on for Minecraft created by Shivaxi, which means that the player must already have Minecraft and download the package online. It is considered the most difficult mod for Minecraft and for good reason. The mod pack contains a lot of new content to make the game more realistic, while adding a ton of monsters that almost everyone wants to kill you. This beginner's guide is intended for those who already know how to play Minecraft and have just been born into a new world.

*** If you've never played Minecraft before, this modpack is probably not for you. But in the future it may be something to consider ***

Step 1: Shelter

The first thing you should know about RLCraft is that most of what you know about Minecraft no longer applies. Also note that in the beginning you will die ... a lot!

The first thing you should do is find a shelter or a good place to make a shelter. This location should include access to water, trees, gravel and, preferably, not many monsters.
Finding a village is a great way to start, but they are hard to find and you will probably die before you find one. Villages have access to waypoints (circled in red) that allow you to teleport from one waypoint to another or retrieve with a scroll (shown above).

Step 2: Tools

Purchasing tools is much more difficult than in normal Minecraft. To begin, the player needs to pick flint from the gravel and kindling from a tree (the leaves not the wood itself).

1. To break the flint into a flint fragment, the player must right click on the top of a hard block with the gravel in his hand.

2. Use a flint fragment and a stick to make a flint knife (shown above).

3. Use the flint knife to cut grass and obtain vegetable fibers. Use the plant fiber to create the plant string (shown above).

4. The string, a stick and a flint fragment can now be combined into a flint ax (shown above) and the player can now cut his first tree.
Step 3: Create a spawning point

It's like normal Minecraft, you need to make a bed.

1. Use the wood that you can now mine with the flint hatchet to make planks. The player cannot simply make them normally, but must place the log on the ground and right-click on the top with the hatchet.

2. Find some sheep and get some wool to make a bed. However, do not die, because if you do, you will lose all your progress and will have to repeat the previous steps. Random generation prevents you from returning to the place of your previous death.

*** If you found a village, take a look because there are usually a lot of beds in the houses ***

Step 4: What to do next

From here, there is a whole world of RLCraft to explore, it is up to the player to decide what to do next.

Option 1 (recommended): The player can go to fight in dungeons to try to obtain loot items, as well as the good chests they contain. One of the best dungeons to start is the battle tower (photo above) because it is very simple and almost guarantees a good serve at the end.

Option 2: The player can try to mine and create a better base, more like normal Minecraft. Remember that the player will need to update their mining level, which is explained in the next step.

Option 3 (for more experienced players): The player can explore the world and try to find new places with waypoints so that, if they have one, they can connect more with the rest of the world.
Step 5: Other things to note

Useful menus

Within the players' inventory, they have a skills guide that allows them to use the experience to level up different characteristics. Leveling strokes allow the use of better equipment in a given category. It is a good thing to keep an eye on leveling up from time to time so as not to miss the experience when you die.
The bestiary is another menu that shows information about the different creatures in the game. To learn more about the creature, the player must approach or kill it. A notification will appear in the chat when you have more knowledge about a species.

As this is a more realistic version of Minecraft, there is a new seat bar and temperature gauge.

To drink water, the player must crouch and right click on a source block, however, this will give the player thirst, as the water is not clean.
The ball between the health bar and the hunger bar is the time meter. If the player is too hot or cold, he may develop hypothermia or hyperthermia that harms the player over time. To cool, to enter the water, but to heat it is more difficult and requires some later insulation of game armor.

Health in RLCraft

The player cannot heal completely after being injured and must wear bandages to heal. Bandages are commonly dropped from mobs, but they can also be made. To use better healing items, the magic skill must be upgraded. Each part of the body must be healed to return to full health and if your head or body is severely damaged, you will die instantly, regardless of your health bar.
Other things to watch out for are heart crystals, red dust (not redstone) and heart capsules. The curative powder can be turned into a heart crystal that can be turned into a heart capsule. The craft recipe is just 3 × 3 for both. The heart capsules can be consumed by the player and permanently update the health bar in a heart.

Step 6: Have fun !!!

The world of RLCraft is endless and there is always more to discover and do. RLCraft adds a ton of structures generated to entertain the player, as well as a lot of new mobs to fight and make friends with. It also presents a new challenge for players who have beaten Minecraft, perhaps even countless times. What to do next is up to you. Your adventure from now on will not be easy and you will encounter many challenges. Just remember how difficult and frustrating this mod pack can be, it is still meant for the player to have fun.
